Star Wars Zero Company is the turn-based tactics game Star Wars fans have been waiting on for years, and it’s finally here — Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment launched it on August 27, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Set in the final, grimmest stretch of the Clone Wars, it puts you in the boots of Hawks, a former Republic officer you build yourself right down to appearance and voice. Hawks commands Zero Company, an off-the-books outfit of professionals for hire that the Republic leans on for the jobs it would rather not admit it needs done.
If you’ve played XCOM, the shape of it will feel familiar, but Zero Company is far more interested in the people standing in your squad. You’ll recruit scoundrels, Jedi, hired guns, and astromech droids you customize yourself, then run them through top-down tactical missions where action points, cover, and one bad flanking call can cost you a soldier for good. Between drops you work out of the Den, researching upgrades, chasing intel across the galaxy, and building relationships with your crew — bonds that unlock real combat synergies and quietly shape how your story ends.
That mix of hard tactics, permadeath, and squad drama gives us plenty to dig into, so we’re building a home for it here. Below you’ll find our growing collection of Zero Company guides, squad-building breakdowns, mission tips, and lore deep dives, with more on the way as we put more hours into the campaign. Check back often — this section will keep filling out as the characters, the systems, and the best team compositions reveal themselves
