Welcome to the Best Mods for Jedi Master Kenobi, the latest in my series of “best mods in SWGoH” articles, as we cover the Galactic Legend characters in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes. It was these mod guides that put my old site on the radar of the community and with EA Capital Games, and over the years I have written literally hundreds of mod guides, including almost all of the original best mods guides over at Gaming-fans.com. Now that my days with Gaming Fans are behind me, I am working to keep the same kind of content going as I resume the “best mods” series today covering one of the most well-know Star Wars characters of all-time with the Best Mods for Jedi Master Kenobi.
Jedi Master Kenobi is a Light Side Attacker, Leader, Galactic Legend and a member of both the Galactic Republic and Jedi factions. Released in June 2021, he was the 5th Galactic Legend added to SWGoH and leads a strong Galactic Republic team with Commander Ahsoka Tano and more. Let’s take a look at how to mod Jedi Master Kenobi to make him more effective in Galaxy of Heroes.
Note that I have been told that I can get a bit long-winded when writing these mod guides. As a result, if you simply want the TL;DR on how to mod Jedi Master Kenobi, it is below.

Main Mod Stats to focus on…
One of the best all-around characters in the game, Jedi Master Kenobi excels on the offensive and defensive sides with a Physical Damage stat that is the 3rd highest in the game and a Physical crit stat that is 6th highest. Because he is so all-around strong, my Jedi Master Kenobi gets massive play in-game in the GAC, Territory Wars, the RoTE Territory Battle, Galactic Challenges, Conquest and even the Arena. With such strong offensive stats, Jedi Master Kenobi is a candidate for both Offense and Critical Damage sets, but considering all Galactic Legends have a base speed of 365 or higher (almost double the speed of ALL non-Galactic Legend characters), a Speed set always should be in the conversation for these specially-designed characters. Other stats to focus on with mod enhancements through secondary stat gains include Critical Chance to increase critical hits, Potency to apply debuffs and Health, as Protection Up, a key stat on the Jedi Master Kenobi Galactic Republic team, is based on the character’s Max Health.
Which Mod Sets to use & Dev Recommendations Jedi Master Kenobi Mods:
The developers at EA Capital Games are recommending Critical Damage and Health mods for Jedi Master Kenobi, but I cannot agree. With a base speed of 385, a set of 4 Speed mods will get a 38.5 boost and is a very good investment on JMK. This is a team that swarms the enemy with attacks, and using speed to your advantage with JMK and CAT will help you get more of those swarm attack, cleanse debuffs and more. The Health set is a must, and high health secondary stats follow that as well, but I strongly feel that a Speed set is needed. As a result, here is what I am recommending for the best mods for Jedi Master Kenobi:
- Transmitter (Square) – The Transmitter mod always has a primary focus on offense. For Jedi Master Kenobi, you want to use a SPEED mod here and be sure to closely look at the secondary stats to ensure that you get a heavy secondary focus on speed, offense, health and critical chance or potency.
- Receiver (Arrow) – The Receiver mod can have a primary focus on several stats including speed, critical avoidance, accuracy, health, protection, defense and offense. For Jedi Master Kenobi, you want to use a SPEED mod here with a primary focus on speed and a secondary focus on health, offense, critical chance and potency.
- Processor (Diamond) – The Processor is always going to have a primary focus on defense. For Jedi Master Kenobi, you want to use a HEALTH mod here with a secondary focus on speed, offense, health and critical chance or potency.
- Holo-Array (Triangle) – The Holo-Array is a very specialized mod that can have a primary focus on critical chance, critical damage, health, protection, offense and defense. For Jedi Master Kenobi, you want to use a SPEED mod here with a primary focus on Critical Damage and a secondary focus on speed, offense, health and critical chance or potency.
- Data-Bus (Circle) – The Data-bus mod always has a primary focus on either health or protection, so use a SPEED mod with a focus on Health because JMK relies on a high Health stat for the Protection Up in his kit. The secondary focus stats should be speed, offense, health and critical chance.
- Multiplexer (Plus) – The Multiplexer (plus or cross) mod can have a primary focus on potency, tenacity, health, protection, defense offense. For Jedi Master Kenobi, you want to use a HEALTH mod here with an Offense or Health focus, making sure to have your mod sets complete. For the secondary stats, look to add speed, offense, health and critical chance or potency.
