A new Era is here and the third character in the Era of Andor in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes is Cinta Kaz, and it is time to review mods for this new Era unit. During my time with Gaming Fans I started the “best mods” series of articles which turned out to be what put the site on the radar of the community and with EA Capital Games. While my days with Gaming Fans are well behind me, I have been writing mod guides like this one since the early days of mods when they were added to SWGoH in 2018. Fortunately, writing these mod guides continues to be a way for me to continue to enjoy Galaxy of Heroes now that I have been playing this game for over a decade. I will seek to keep the same high quality content going as I continue the “best mods in SWGoH” series today with the Best Mods for Cinta Kaz.
One of the newest characters in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes, Cinta Kaz is another Era Unit Marquee character from the Era of Andor. Cinta Kaz is a Rebel operative and skilled assassin who appears in the Andor series on Disney+, working alongside Vel Sartha and the broader rebel network fighting against Imperial oppression. Cold, patient, and deeply committed to the cause, she operates best in the shadows — gathering intelligence, eliminating targets, and doing whatever the Rebellion demands, no matter the personal cost. For the purposes of SWGoH, Cinta Kaz is a Light Side Attacker who fits into the Rebel and Rebel Fighter factions. Let’s take a look at how we want to focus the mod stat gains for Cinta Kaz in Galaxy of Heroes.
Note that I have learned that I get a bit wordy in these Best Mods articles, so as a result the TL;DR on mods for Cinta Kaz is below. Also, I added a new(er) format on the recommendations below which I hope will help make these best mods articles easier to decipher.
Era of Andor Characters:
- Kleya Marki
- Vel Sartha
- Cinta Kaz
- Dedra Meero
- Major Partagaz
- KX Security Droid
- Cassian Andor (Undercover)
Main Mod Stats to focus on…
Cinta Kaz’ SWGoH kit is built on her ability to apply debuffs, Expose from her unique, Defense Down from her basic and Breach, Ability Block and Deathmark from her Fight to the Death special. Her ability to assist Rebel Fighter allies whenever they use a special against an Undermined enemy makes her dangerous, as seen in the Era of Andor Coliseum battles.
What makes Cinta particularly potent is her Unique ability, which turns Stealth into an offensive engine rather than just a defensive tool. Whenever she uses an ability while Stealthed on her turn, she Exposes the target enemy for 2 turns, and whenever she attacks out of turn while Stealthed, her attacks gain +100% Critical Chance along with +50% Critical Damage and +50% Defense Penetration. When a Deathmarked enemy is defeated, all Rebel Fighter allies recover 100% Health and Protection, gain stacking Speed up to 50, and Cinta herself gains 100% Critical Damage for the rest of the battle — a snowball effect that rewards targeting priority enemies with Fight to the Death. Rebel Fighter allies also gain 10% stacking Offense for each Undermined enemy, and if all enemies are Undermined, the entire squad becomes immune to Instant Defeat and Max Health reduction effects.
To get the most out of Cinta, her mods should emphasize Critical Chance, Critical Damage, and Speed so she can cycle Fight to the Death as frequently as possible and maximize her out-of-turn attack damage while Stealthed. If you’re new to modding or want to refine your approach, our beginner’s guide to mods is a great starting point. Hitting the right Speed thresholds ensures she acts before key enemies use their specials, which both triggers her 15% Turn Meter gain and keeps the Undermine chain running across the full Rebel Fighter squad. Pair her with Cassian Andor (Undercover), Vel Sartha, Kleya Marki, and Luthen Rael for the full Era of Andor synergy, where the entire team’s debuff toolkit compounds into one of the most disruptive Rebel squads in the current meta.
