Welcome to the Best Mods for Commander Ahsoka Tano article, the latest in my series of “best mods in SWGoH” articles which put my old site on the radar of the community and with EA Capital Games. Over the years I have written literally hundreds of mod guides, including almost all of the original best mods guides over at Gaming-fans.com. Now that my days with Gaming Fans are behind me, I am working to keep the same kind of content going as I resume the “best mods” series today with the Best Mods for Commander Ahsoka Tano.
The third Ahsoka Tano added to Galaxy of Heroes, Commander Ahsoka Tano is the Ahsoka version near the end of the Clone Wars. Added in-game as a lifter unit to enhance Jedi Master Kenobi, Commander Ahsoka Tano is often referred to as simply “CAT” by by in the SWGoH community. CAT is a requirement for the Galactic Legend version of Ahsoka Tano at Relic 9 and is a Light Side, Attacker, Scoundrel, Galactic Republic and Unaligned Force User. Let’s take a look at how to best mod Commander Ahsoka Tano to increase her effectiveness in-game.
Note that I have been told that I can get a bit long-winded when writing these mod guides. As a result, if you simply want the TL;DR on how to mod Commander Ahsoka Tano, it is below.

Main Mod Stats to focus on…
Commander Ahsoka Tano is specifically designed to be on the Jedi Master Kenobi team, so this mod guide will aim to help you mod her for that role in-game. For those relying on the JMK team to win important battles in Galaxy of Heroes, whether in Territory Wars, Territory Battles, the GAC or elsewhere, it is a must to have Commander Ahsoka Tano as one of your highest speed priorities. She starts with a base speed of 190 which is one of the game’s fastest non-Galactic Legends, so a Speed set is a very strong recommendation, but the secondary speed gains will be what makes the difference. Often the JMK team is used in mirror matches in the GAC and TW, so having the faster CAT is very helpful. CC and CD are always helpful on Attackers, and Commander Ahsoka Tano has built-in CD boosts and gains Critical Damage up when she uses the Force Leap special. While her base health is not strong and her armor stat is just average, if used on this team she gains +50% Health and Defense and shares those bonuses with her Light Side allies, making her pretty solid in terms of survivability thanks to JMK’s leadership as well. Speaking of JMK’s leader ability, remember that Protection Up is based on Max Health in Galaxy of Heroes, so the second mod set should be Health for sure to enhance the Protection Up mechanics from the Jedi Master Kenobi lead.
Which Mod Sets to use & Dev Recommendations
A former Conquest prize in the early days of that game mode, Commander Ahsoka Tano is a key member of the Jedi Master Kenobi Galactic Republic team, one of the best teams in the game, and should get top priority of your high speed secondary speed and health mods. The developers at EA Capital Games agree with me on Speed & Health sets, and there is no reason to outthink the room on this character. Here is what I am recommending for the best mods for Commander Ahsoka Tano (CAT):
- Transmitter (Square) – The Transmitter mod always has a primary focus on offense. For Commander Ahsoka Tano, you want to use a SPEED mod here and be sure to closely look at the secondary stats to ensure that you get a heavy secondary focus on speed, offense, health and critical chance.
- Receiver (Arrow) – The Receiver mod can have a primary focus on several stats including speed, critical avoidance, accuracy, health, protection, defense and offense. For Commander Ahsoka Tano, you want to use a SPEED mod here with a primary focus on speed and a secondary focus on offense, health, critical chance and defense. Note that an offense focus with a solid speed secondary could also be in play.
- Processor (Diamond) – The Processor is always going to have a primary focus on defense. For Commander Ahsoka Tano, you want to use a SPEED mod here with a secondary focus on speed, health, offense and defense.
- Holo-Array (Triangle) – The Holo-Array is a very specialized mod that can have a primary focus on critical chance, critical damage, health, protection, offense and defense. For Commander Ahsoka Tano, you want to use a HEALTH mod here with a primary focus on Offense or Critical Damage and a secondary focus on speed, CC, offense and health.
- Data-Bus (Circle) – The Data-bus mod always has a primary focus on either health or protection, so use a HEALTH mod with a Health primary since Commander Ahsoka Tano benefits greatly from an enhanced Health stat. The secondary focus stats should be speed, offense, defense and critical chance.
- Multiplexer (Plus) – The Multiplexer (plus or cross) mod can have a primary focus on potency, tenacity, health, protection, defense offense. For Commander Ahsoka Tano, you want to use a SPEED mod here with an Offense focus, making sure to have your mod sets complete. For the secondary stats, look to add speed, health, defense and critical chance.
