It is now mid-October and the Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar 2024 has not only been released, it is in stores now. On a trip to my local Wal-Mart I picked up this latest Star Wars Advent Calendar – Lego 75395 – and I look forward to opening the days and enjoying with the family. While the kids are now teenagers, the love for Lego and Star Wars continues and this $45 purchase is full of classic Star Wars characters and ships as well as new takes on old characters.
Right away the first characters I notice in this LEGO Star Wars set, only with a new spin on their look, are Luke and Leia. The twins have Christmas sweaters with Star Wars themes which is a funny take on the sweaters many adults now wear each holiday season, myself included. It also incorporates non-Original Trilogy characters in Ahsoka Tano and a Clone Trooper who may or may not be Captain Rex.
On the vehicle side, a mini-AT-AT uses a few different pieces as Lego has been using more new pieces for smaller builds and more intricate angles in the past few years. A slightly different Millennium Falcon, Y-Wing and X-Wing follow this use of newer parts as well. Darth Vader’s castle on Mustafar will likely be the hot item to build from this Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar with my family, but the classic-look X-Wing and the Falcon are always favorites.
All in all, this looks like a fun Advent Calendar for the family and for collectors alike. Happy budding Lego Star Wars fans!
