The Rise of the Empire Territory Battle was added in Galaxy of Heroes in late 2022 and features Light Side, Dark Side and Neutral paths. Featuring six phases which last 24 hours each, the Rise of the Empire Territory Battle has new territories (planets) that can be unlocked by meeting certain criteria, and others that are part of the standard progression. The third planet we come to on the Light Side is the cookie home of Kashyyyk, and it features a Light Side Cookie-specific combat mission and a special mission requiring Saw Gererra and Rebel Fighters. This special mission rewards 50 Mk II Guild Event Tokens and my walkthrough guide for how to win this battle is below.
Kashyyyk Special Mission requirements: Saw Gererra & Rebel Fighters, Relic 7+
My Team: 151k power, all Relic 7
- Saw Gerrera – 31,560 – Speed & Health
- Jyn Erso – 32,361 – Speed & potency
- Cassian Andor – 31,740 – Speed & Potency
- Luthen Rael – 28,492 – Speed & Health
- K-2S0 – 26,941 – 2 Defense & 1 Potency
Fighting this Special Mission battle for the first time, I am matched up with five Imperials including two Purge Troopers, a Recon Stormtrooper, an Imperial Officer and a AT-ST Driver. Saw sets the trap and the Imperials who nuts on the Rebel summons, eliminating him immediately. Saw’s AoE dispels the AT-ST Driver’s taunt and Cassian spreads debuffs. Jyn stuns a Purge Trooper and then the enemies hit K2 a bunch, but Luthen steps in and summons another Rebel Trooper. The taunts of the PTs switch and I am stuck hitting the taunting characters with Protection Up, but I continue spreading debuffs and work to keep the two PTs Ability Blocked when possible. I lose K2, but Jin quickly revives him as I weed through this group and eventually move on to the second wave of enemies.
The second wave of enemies have a Purge Trooper, Imperial Officer, Recon Stormtrooper, AT-ST Driver and a taunting Stormtrooper Commander as the leader. In this wave the Imperial Probe Droid that appears has the annoying taunt that I get stuck behind, and I keep cycling through getting Luthen to summon a new Rebel Trooper and landing and spreading debuffs when possible. Jyn’s stun and TM removal is awesome, but I lose Luthen to a barrage of hits before I can kill anyone off. Forgetting Jyn’s revive, I use her ability with a smile when she comes up again and I move forward. I kill the PT and lose both K2 and Luthen again, only to revive K2 and focus on the Recon Stormtrooper. I lose Cassian and have just Saw and Jin and it is looking bleak, as Jyn kills the Recon Stormtrooper and the enemies kill her in turn. Saw alone is no match for the enemies and they finish him off as I fail to gain any rewards.

Fighting this battle at almost the exact same levels, with Luthen Rael only a sliced mod better, I do a MUCH better job of controlling the battle and spreading debuffs. Instead of relying so much on Stuns, which are awesome, I load up on Ability Block debuffs and do not save Jyn’s middle attack as I have in the past, this time using it to get Luthen Rael more turns to allow Cassian to spread the red marks.
In the second wave of enemies I am able to slowly get the debuffs spread but the need for buff dispels comes up briefly. I am able to load debuffs onto the Death Trooper then spread them to the Recon Stormtrooper while the Stormtrooper Commander remains stunned from Jyn’s TM manipulation special. I take out the Imperial Officer and then lose K2, my first death of the battle, and Jyn revives him and kills off the Recon Stormtrooper in one hit. From here it is smooth sailing as I am able to finish off the other two enemies and ignore the Imperial Probe Droid for the win.
