Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes is a turn-based, mobile collectible Role-playing game (RPG) where players collect characters, build squads, and battle across various game modes. Developed by EA Capital Games, SWGoH offers deep strategy, ongoing updates, and a thriving competitive community. After a soft launch in Australia during October 2015, SWGoH was formally released on November 24, 2015 to the rest of the world. It combines characters and scenes from both canon and non-canon Star Wars and is the most successful Star Wars video game of all-time, reaching $1 billion in lifetime revenue back in 2019. While the game does not generate the same annual revenue as it did at it’s peak in 2017, the game continues to pull in over 100 million in revenue annually for Electronic Arts and their Capital Games studio.
Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes – Gameplay Breakdown & Tips for Success
In SWGoH, characters are unlocked through shards, earned in battles, events, and packs. Each character has unique abilities, which can be leveled up using ability materials and all characters can be upgraded by leveling up, increasing star ratings (from 1-star to 7-stars), and applying gear to enhance stats. In addition, each character can equip mods, or modifications, that help the user customize and enhance their characters. Here at StarWars-fans.com we made our name from our best mods for SWGoH series which helps players know what mods to use on specific characters and why.
