The Star Wars world went nuts over the weekend as actor Rahul Kohli seems to have revealed that he is playing Ezra Bridger. Kohli tweeted some not-so-subtle hints and then appeared to deny any rumors he created in a video he posted, adding a wink at the end, leaving Star Wars fans hanging. But this Den of Nerds video and other media continue to speculate that we may well indeed see Ezra Bridger in live action on The Mandalorian season 2 or season 3.
We last say Ezra Bridger at the end of Star Wars Rebels, fitting into the Star Wars canon timeline just before Rogue One and Episode IV’s Battle of Yavin, when he mysteriously was taken through hyperspace along with rival Grand Admiral Thrawn by the purrgill, a whale-like species that fly through space. Where Ezra (and Thrawn) were during the Galactic Civil War and its aftermath are still unknown, but rumors are abound that we will see both Ezra Bridger and Ahsoka Tano, as well as possibly Luke Skywalker, in future season of The Mandalorian.
