The Rise of the Empire Territory Battle was added in Galaxy of Heroes in late 2022 and features Light Side, Dark Side and Neutral paths. Featuring six phases which last 24 hours each, the Rise of the Empire Territory Battle has territories (planets) that can be unlocked by meeting certain criteria, and others that are part of the standard progression. The third planet we come to on the Dark Side is the Nightsister home of Dathomir, and it features a Dark Side Nightsister-specific special mission requiring Merrin. This special mission rewards 50 Mk II Guild Event Tokens and my walkthrough guide for how to win this battle is below.

The Battle: Fighting this Special Mission battle for the first time, I am matched up with Hondo Ohnaka with IG-88 and some of Jabba’s henchmen. I have Old Daka as the lead per a video from Xaereth to ensure my team has added survivability. Since I do not have Asajj Ventress, this may prove interesting as her ramping damage is a nice to have. This battle feels like the battles in RotE where you try to outlast the enemies with Damage Over Time or Thermal Detonators, similar to the Reva special mission. However here the first wave of enemies just hit hard and I looked to land Tenacity Down on as many as possible with Nightsister Zombie and then land Plague as much as possible. By spreading the Tenacity Down from Zombie’s basic, it makes Mother Talzin much more effective as this first wave of enemies is just annoying as heck and I HATE these type of battles.
The second wave of enemies has Maul, Qi’ra, Dash Rendar and a couple of Cartel thugs. The strategy here is to continue to land Plague and control Dash Rendar’s AoE by Stunning him when possible. Spreading the Tenacity Down with Zombie once again is key to landing more Plague and patience you must have. Well, patience, good mods and high relics. Anyway, keeping Dash controlled as much as possible I was able to wait the battle out and eventually get the win for the extra 50 Mk II GET.
