SWGoH: Battle for Naboo Raid Characters & Farming Guide

Posted on June 25, 2024March 29, 2025 by ljcool110

Naboo Raid - SWGoHThe new Battle for Naboo Raid is set come to Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes in the next month or two, and last week we got the official list of characters needed in the new Raid. Of course it is full of Galactic Republic Jedi, most of whom were not in attendance for the Battle for Naboo, Gungans, and Separtists. Here is a breakdown:

  • Gungans – Jar Jar Binks, Captain Tarpals, Gungan Boomadier, Gungan Phalanx, Boss Nass
  • Separatists – B1 Battle Droid, B2 Battle Droid, Droideka, IG-100 MagnaGuard, Nute Gunray
  • Galactic Republic non-Jedi – Queen Amidala, R2-D2
  • Sith – Darth Sidious, Darth Maul
  • and many, many Galactic Republic Jedi

So the question is, who should I farm for this SWGoH Raid now that we have this list? The answer to that is complex, but can be made much more simple by prioritizing. Games like SWGoH force users to either whale hard and buy everything they want, or efficiently prioritize based on if they will spend any money at all, and if so, how much. For the Battle for Naboo Raid, we want to review the characters needed and how valuable they are in other game modes. Here is a look at the factions above and a quick review:

  • Gungans – you need Captain Tarpals, Gungan Boomadier, Gungan Phalanx and Boss Nass to unlock Jar Jar, and given this will be the main faction of this Raid, I highly suggest investing into them. In addition, this team is a pain in the butt to face in Territory Wars and in the GAC, and I even used them in the recent RotE Territory Battle, so you will not be wasting your resources on a 9-month faction (like how I feel about the Tuskens now).
  • Separatists – The STAP is a strong character in Territory Wars with an Omicron, but overall this team has seen better days. Requiring the Separatists mentioned above is not great and not terrible, as whales like myself already have them beefed up.
  • Galactic Republic non-Jedi – If you are going to invest into unlocking Queen Amidala you might as well have her with strong Relic stats. As for R2-D2, anyone with Leia Organa will have him at Relic 8 or Relic 9, so this is not a challenge at all.
  • Sith – While Darth Sidious and Darth Maul are required at high Relic numbers from other events, neither are particularly relevant in today’s game, unless there is an OP Datacron involved.
  • Galactic Republic Jedi – This is where things vary greatly. Five of these characters are, at the time of this writing, hardly worth Gear 13 – Eeth Koth, Kit Fisto, Luminara Unduli, Jedi Consular and Jedi Knight Guardian. While the rest have significantly more value, Aayla Secura has little use in the game and Plo Koon is only valued because of his ship.

To summarize all of this, it all comes down to how you plan to use these characters in other game modes and how highly you prioritize Raids. As an endgamer myself, I place high priority on Raids like the Battle for Naboo, so I will be looking to add Relics to all of these characters, possibly even the 5 GR Jedi mentioned above.
