Star Wars Jedi Survivor

Jedi Survivor: How to Win at Holotactics

Posted on March 24, 2024November 22, 2024 by ljcool110

Once you reach Pyloon’s Saloon on Koboh in Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, you have the opportunity to play a game called Holotactics. The game is a tabletop battle simulation with characters that cost specific values to use in battle. It seems that each opponent has a different degree of difficulty and the rewards for winning vary opponent to opponent. When you are not off on a journey in-game or searching for more Stim upgrades, Holotactics can be a fun game in the game experience where you can earn a few items to help you along the way. As you defeat each opponent in Holotactics you gain a reward for the first time beating them, then it becomes practice.

Holotactics with Turgle

Turgle in the typical entry-level opponent and defeating him in Holotactics is pretty simple.

Wave 1 with Turgle is especially easy as the simple mix of melee and ranged attackers is all you need. Wave 2 against Turgle is not quite as easy but the right combination of character cards can help you cruise to victory. Putting down a Roller Mine front and center with a B1 Melee Battle Droid in either corner makes this battle quite simple. Another combination that worked well against Turgle was a DT Sentry Droid with a standard Stormtrooper firing at range.

Holotacticxs with Greez

Your second opponent is Greez, and instead of two waves of battles you have three. Once again a mix of melee and ranged attackers worked for us, and the Flametrooper was effective in Wave 1. Matching Greez with a Security Droid in the 3rd wave with a Flametrooper behind it was a success.

Holotacticxs with Tulakt

Tulakt is third on the Holotactics list, and is much harder to get through than Greez and Turgle. In multiple attempts in Wave 1 against Tulakt, melee characters got their butts kicked and it did not allow my ranger fighters to be effective. In Wave 2 I went all-in on melee and that almost bit me in the butt. For Wave 3 I went with a mix of melee and ranged attacks and it was a total fail.

Holotacticxs with Skoova

We find that the Skriton is very effective in the first two Waves and then crushes the Bilemaw in the 3rd Wave. The 4th Wave proves to be much of the same as the Kriton once again dominates for the win.

Holotacticxs with T-1N8

Testing a Mogu, this proves to work well as T-1N8 likes the animals too. Wave 1 is a win with a Mogu and a Skriton barely squeaks by in Wave 2 and Wave 3 as well. In Wave 4 he uses two Skritons for an easy win.

Holotacticxs with Tulli

Tulli is the final Holotactics boss. Wave 1 he used a single Skriton and just barely won – I would not suggest the Skriton alone. Waves 2 and 3 were easy wins with a pair of Skritons both times. In Wave 4 he used an AT-ST, a Skiton and a Flametropper for an easy win which results in a Skill Point.
