Depa Billaba - SWGoH

SWGoH: Best Mods for Depa Billaba

Posted on June 17, 2025 by ljcool110

Jedi Council member Depa Billaba joins Galaxy of Heroes as we continue our popular “best mods” series of articles and take a look at the newest character in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes. As the expansion of the Jedi Vanguard faction continues, Depa Billaba is one of the required characters to unlock Jedi Master Mace Windu, required at Relic 5. In addition, Depa Billaba joins the Jedi Temple Guard as required characters in the latest Era Battle in SWGoH. In actual gameplay, Depa Billaba is a Light Side Attacker and is a member of the Galactic Republic, Jedi and Jedi Vanguard factions. Let’s take a look at how we want to focus the mod stat gains for Depa Billaba in Galaxy of Heroes.

Note that I have learned that I get a bit wordy in these Best Mods articles, so as a result the TL;DR on mods for Depa Billaba is below.

Unlocking Depa Billaba & where does she fit in SWGoH?

Depa Billaba is a Marquee Character in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes and was released in June 2025.

Depa Billaba is a member of the Jedi Vanguard team, led by Jedi Master Mace Windu who can be unlocked in June 2025. Included on the team are Jocasta Nu, Temple Guard, and the newly reworked Aayla Secura.

Main Mod Stats to focus on…

Speed is typically a major need for Attackers, however Depa Billaba’s Unique, Nothing and Everything, grants her 70% Counter Chance. As a result, focusing on Offense, Speed and survivability feels like the best route for this Jedi Vanguard member. Note that Jedi Master Mace Windu’s leader ability states: “At the start of battle, Jedi Vanguard allies gain 20% Critical Chance, Critical Damage, and Offense, and 10 Speed. If there is active ally Depa Billaba, she and Mace gain double these stats,” so we need to be sure to factor this into how we want to mod Depa Billaba.

While her base stat of 7,339 Physical Damage is not eye-popping, adding 40% to this takes it to over 10k which is better than any base Physical Damage stat in the game. In addition, there are situations built into her kit where her basic does 25% more damage, where her Vapid Disciple special has her deal 50% more damage and more. Since she will obviously be used with Temple Guard in all areas of SWGoH, note that in the Grand Arena the Temple Guard’s unique grants +50% Defense if there are no Galactic Legends. With a respectable base Armor stat already, adding Defense along with Health given she has a strong Health Steal stat.

Modding Depa Billaba for the Revenge of the Sith / Operation Knightfall Raid:

With the addition of the new Operation Knightfall Raid, which we’re still waiting for an official name for at this time, I am sure that mods for Depa Billaba will be an important thing to review. While the Jedi Vanguard team(s) will be led by Jedi Master Mace Windu, until he is released and details of the Raid are public it is hard to say if Depa Billaba mods will change for the event, but I doubt it. When the time comes we will update this information here to help the SWGoH community out in deciding on the best Depa Billaba mods for the Raid.

Which Mod Sets to use & Dev Recommendations for Depa Billaba

Depa Billaba is a Light Side Attacker with strong Physical Damage and a high Counter Chance, meaning you want her to take some hits, but not too many. As a result, an Offense set coupled with a Critical Chance set with some added Defense and Health from the secondaries is the best route to go. As a result, here are my recommendations for the best mods for Depa Billaba:

  • Transmitter (Square) – The Transmitter mod always has a primary focus on offense. For Depa Billaba, you want to use a OFFENSE mod here and be sure to closely look at the secondary stats to ensure that you get a heavy secondary focus on speed, offense, critical chance, and potency, health or defense.
  • Receiver (Arrow) – The Receiver mod can have a primary focus on several stats including speed, critical avoidance, accuracy, health, protection, defense and offense. For Depa Billaba, you want to use a OFFENSE mod here with a primary focus on Speed and a secondary focus on offense, critical chance, potency and health or defense.
  • Processor (Diamond) – The Processor is always going to have a primary focus on defense. For Depa Billaba, you want to use a CRITICAL CHANCE mod here with a secondary focus on speed, offense, critical chance, and potency, health or defense.
  • Holo-Array (Triangle) – The Holo-Array is a very specialized mod that can have a primary focus on critical chance, critical damage, health, protection, offense and defense. For Depa Billaba, you want to use a OFFENSE mod here with a primary focus on Critical Damage and a secondary focus on speed, offense, critical chance, and potency, health or defense.
  • Data-Bus (Circle) – The Data-bus mod always has a primary focus on either health or protection, and for Depa Billaba go with a CRITICAL CHANCE mod with a protection focus for the primary. The secondary focus stats should be speed, offense, potency and health or defense.
  • Multiplexer (Plus) – The Multiplexer (plus or cross) mod can have a primary focus on potency, tenacity, health, protection, defense or offense. For Depa Billaba, you want to use a OFFENSE mod here with a focus on Offense, making sure to have your mod sets complete. For the secondary stats look to add speed, offense, critical chance, and potency, health or defense.

Depa Billaba Mods TL;DR

  • Square – Offense mod with speed & offense
  • Arrow – Offense mod, Speed focus with offense & potency
  • Diamond – CC mod with speed & offense
  • Triangle – Offense mod, Critical Damage focus with speed & offense
  • Circle – CC mod, Protection focus with speed & offense
  • Plus – Offense mod, Offense focus with speed & offense
