Omega Fugitive - SWGoH

SWGoH: Best Mods for Omega (Fugitive)

Posted on January 15, 2025March 11, 2025 by ljcool110

Welcome to the Best Mods for Omega (Fugitive) article, the latest in my series of “best mods in SWGoH” articles which put my old site on the radar of the community and with EA Capital Games. Over the years I have written literally hundreds of mod guides, including almost all of the original best mods guides over at Gaming-fans.com. Now that my days with Gaming Fans are behind me, I am working to keep the same kind of content going as I resume the “best mods” series today with the Best Mods for Omega (Fugitive).

Omega (Fugitive) is the second iteration of Omega, is a new SWGoH character that the entire Bad Batch story has been centered around. The Clone Wars spinoff followed a team of irregular clones across the galaxy after they debuted in Season 7 of The Clone Wars, as the team was highly popular. As the Bad Batch clones learned to adapt to the changing galaxy after Order 66, they met Omega, an unaltered clone and sister of Boba Fett, with the story centered around their adventures and protection of Omega. While the makeup of the team changes throughout the three seasons of the Bad Batch, including the addition of her pet Batcher, it continues the storytelling arc with a Star Wars theme.

For the purposes of SWGoH, Omega (Fugitive) is the Bad Batch Season 3 version of Omega, older and wiser and now a leader of the team instead of Hunter. She is a Light Side Support character from the Bad Batch faction and does not have a Clone tag. Let’s take a look at the mods and stats to enhance Omega (Fugitive) in SWGoH.

Note that I have been told that I can get a bit long-winded when writing these mod guides. As a result, if you simply want the TL;DR on how to mod Omega (Fugitive), it is below.

Main Mod Stats to focus on…

Omega (Fugitive) has an interesting kit that really does not stand out. Her unique grants her +50 Speed, but her base Speed is just 137 which is extremely slow in 2025 Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes standards. Her survivability stats are average and her offense relies on Special Damage and that, too, is rather unimpressive, but the intangibles make her very interesting. The lone impressive base stat is her Tenacity at 123% when she reaches Gear 13 as only two characters – Jedi Knight Cal Kestis and Ezra Bridger (Exile) have a higher base Tenacity. Back to the intangibles. Omega (Fugitive)’s Rescue objectives with Captive and Target Practice leading the team to save the captive ally are intriguing and will allow for significant strategy in-game now that we have the entire second version of the Bad Batch. In addition, Omega (Fugitive) has callouts to her Relic amplifier level impacting how she enhances her teammates’ stats, so if you are using this team extensively, be sure to invest your Relic materials into Omega (Fugitive) to further strengthen Hunter (Mercenary), Wrecker (Mercenary), Batcher and Crosshair (Scarred).

As for mod stats to focus on, I initially thought Speed would be a good option until seeing that base Speed of 137, meaning less than 14 Speed will be gained from a Speed set. Usually you want a base Speed of 170+ before using a Speed set, to maximize the stat gains efficiently, so I am starting with a focus on survivability. I have also see some suggest a Tenacity set, but with a base Tenacity of 123%, I think a Tenacity set is only in play if you have some awesome secondary stat gains on your two Tenacity mods, as I do. So while you will see a Tenacity set used on my example, it is not really my first choice.

Which Mod Sets to use & Dev Recommendations for Omega (Fugitive):

Omega (Fugitive) is a character who has dev recommendations that, at least when she was initially released, I feel I can blow holes in the argument for these mod sets. I honestly do not like what the devs have recommended at all and this may be my biggest disagreement with the team at EA Capital Games on mods for a new character in 3-4 years. But I will hold off any judgement for now as there are 4 more Bad Batch characters coming to the game that will likely impact this greatly and cause all of this to make sense. And if it does not make sense at the end of this season when we have all of the characters, I will be sure to share my thoughts. So with all of that having been said, I am suggesting a survivability focus on Omega (Fugitive) to start until I see that the Speed and Tenacity sets make sense as this will allow her to stay alive for all those character quests that she is needed for. Thus, here is what I am recommending for the best mods for the new Bad Batch leader Omega (Fugitive):

  • Transmitter (Square) – The Transmitter mod always has a primary focus on offense. For Omega (Fugitive), you want to use a TENACITY or HEALTH mod here and be sure to closely look at the secondary stats to ensure that you get a heavy secondary focus on health, defense, protection and speed.
  • Receiver (Arrow) – The Receiver mod can have a primary focus on several stats including speed, critical avoidance, accuracy, health, protection, defense and offense. For Omega (Fugitive), you want to use a HEALTH or SPEED mod here with a primary focus on speed and a secondary focus on defense, health, tenacity and protection.
  • Processor (Diamond) – The Processor is always going to have a primary focus on defense. For Omega (Fugitive), you want to use a HEALTH or SPEED mod here with a secondary focus on health, defense, protection and speed.
  • Holo-Array (Triangle) – The Holo-Array is a very specialized mod that can have a primary focus on critical chance, critical damage, health, protection, offense and defense. For Omega (Fugitive), you want to use a HEALTH or SPEED mod here with a primary focus on Health/Protection/Defense and a secondary focus on health, defense, protection and speed.
  • Data-Bus (Circle) – The Data-bus mod always has a primary focus on either health or protection, so use an TENACITY or HEALTH mod with a Protection primary since Omega (Fugitive) benefits from greatly from a high Protection stats. The secondary focus stats should be health, defense, protection and speed.
  • Multiplexer (Plus) – The Multiplexer (plus or cross) mod can have a primary focus on potency, tenacity, health, protection, defense offense. For Omega (Fugitive), you want to use a HEALTH or SPEED mod here with a Health/Protection/Defense focus, making sure to have your mod sets complete. For the secondary stats, look to add health, defense, protection and speed.

Omega (Fugitive) Mods TL;DR

  • Square – Tenacity/Health mod with health & speed
  • Arrow – Health/Speed mod, Speed focus with health & protection
  • Diamond – Health/Speed mod with health & speed
  • Triangle – Health/Speed mod, Health focus with health & speed
  • Circle – Tenacity/Health mod, Protection focus with health & speed
  • Plus – Health/Speed mod, Health or Defense focus with health, protection & speed
