Welcome to the Best Mods for Sith Eternal Emperor (SEE), the latest in my series of “best mods in SWGoH” articles, as we cover the Galactic Legend characters in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes. It was mod articles like this one that put my old site on the radar of the community and with EA Capital Games. Over the years I have written literally hundreds of mod guides, including almost all of the original best mods guides over at Gaming-fans.com. Now that my days with Gaming Fans are behind me, I am working to keep the same kind of content going as I resume the “best mods” series today covering one of the most impactful Star Wars characters of all-time with the Best Mods for Sith Eternal Emperor.
When he was released in the second batch of Galactic Legends, he arrived in-game at the same time as Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. A Dark Side Attacker and Leader, Sith Eternal Emperor is somewhat meant to be the top Sith leader in SWGoH, but the faction is lacking in my opinion when it comes to the top-tier of leader abilities. when compared to the other Galactic Legend leaders in-game. Let us progress ahead and look at the stats we want to focus on when modding SEE to make him there most effective in Galaxy of Heroes.
Note that I have been told that I can get a bit long-winded when writing these mod guides. As a result, if you simply want the TL;DR on how to mod Sith Eternal Emperor, it is below.
Main Mod Stats to focus on…
Probably the least valuable Galactic Legend in the RoTE Territory Battle, Sith Eternal Emperor is a character who is in need of a lifter unit that actually sticks with his character. While Darth Bane is an amazingly good character in SWGoH, his value is greater being used with another Sith member elsewhere in the GAC and Territory Wars, keeping Sith Eternal Emperor on his own or with a support character like War Tambor or The Armorer. With a base Speed of 365, SEE is tied with Jabba the Hutt as the slowest two Galactic Legends in the game at the time of this writing, but that is still nearly 160 speed faster than all non-Galactic Legends, so a Speed set has to be considered. However the key to Sith Eternal Emperor is keeping him alive as his Unrivaled Destiny ability’s Linked effect will allow him to zap enemies away. While Protection may look like a good route, once he transforms with his Ultimate, his 65% Health Steal suddenly becomes key as you work toward the Power! Unlimited Power! zap. Because of this, while a Speed set is tempting, the community’s top players have trended toward more and more Health with over 85% of the top 1000 players in Kyber using three Health sets on SEE, myself included. Adding Potency is not a bad idea to make the debuffs more effective, and additional survivability like Defense, Protection and Tenacity are bonus as you look to make your Sith Eternal Emperor as strong as possible.
Which Mod Sets to use & Dev Recommendations
The developers at EA Capital Games are recommending Speed & Health mods for Sith Eternal Emperor, and I understand their reasoning, but the top players in the game have spoken and the stats show this recommendation to be outdated, like many of the dev recommendations on mods in-game for SWGoH. Sith Eternal Emperor needs to be kept alive for as long as possible, and needs to survive after hitting the transformation so he can use his ultimate to zap enemies away. Because of this, Health, health and more health is the way to go, so here is what I am recommending for the best mods for Sith Eternal Emperor:
- Transmitter (Square) – The Transmitter mod always has a primary focus on offense. For Sith Eternal Emperor, you want to use a HEALTH mod here and be sure to closely look at the secondary stats to ensure that you get a heavy secondary focus on speed, health, potency, and protection or offense.
- Receiver (Arrow) – The Receiver mod can have a primary focus on several stats including speed, critical avoidance, accuracy, health, protection, defense and offense. For Sith Eternal Emperor, you want to use a HEALTH mod here with a rare primary focus on Health and a secondary focus on speed, health, potency, and protection or defense.
- Processor (Diamond) – The Processor is always going to have a primary focus on defense. For Sith Eternal Emperor, you want to use a HEALTH mod here with a secondary focus on speed, health, potency, and offense or defense.
- Holo-Array (Triangle) – The Holo-Array is a very specialized mod that can have a primary focus on critical chance, critical damage, health, protection, offense and defense. For Sith Eternal Emperor, you want to use a HEALTH mod here with a primary focus on Health and a secondary focus on speed, health, potency, and protection or offense.
- Data-Bus (Circle) – The Data-bus mod always has a primary focus on either health or protection, so use a HEALTH mod with a focus on Health because SEE is thirsty for a high Health stat. The secondary focus stats should be speed, health, potency, and protection or defense.
- Multiplexer (Plus) – The Multiplexer (plus or cross) mod can have a primary focus on potency, tenacity, health, protection, defense offense. For Sith Eternal Emperor, you want to use a HEALTH mod here with a Health focus, making sure to have your mod sets complete. For the secondary stats, look to add speed, health, potency, and defense, protection or offense.
