Welcome to the Best Mods for Padawan Sabine Wren article, the latest in my series of “best mods in SWGoH” articles which put my old site on the radar of the community and with EA Capital Games. Over the years I have written literally hundreds of mod guides, including almost all of the original best mods guides over at Gaming-fans.com. Now that my days with Gaming Fans are behind me, I am working to keep the same kind of content going as I resume the “best mods” series today with the Best Mods for Padawan Sabine Wren.
The second iteration of Sabine Wren in Galaxy of Heroes, Padawan Sabine Wren is an Attacker, Mandalorian, Spectre and Unaligned Force User in the game. Added in November 2024, you will note that the Rebel, Jedi and Phoenix tags are all missing, as CG states the reason being “game balance.” Padawan Sabine Wren will undoubtedly be a key member of the new Galactic Legend Ahsoka Tano team along with Ezra Bridger (Exile), as PSW has been announced as part of the Galactic Legend Ahosoka Tano requirements and is required at Relic 7.
Note that I have been told that I can get a bit long-winded when writing these mod guides. As a result, if you simply want the TL;DR on how to mod Padawan Sabine Wren, it is below. Also keep in mind this mods guide is for the new Sabine Wren in SWGoH, added in November 2024. A link to the best mods for Sabine Wren, the original Sabine, is provided for easy access.
Main Mod Stats to focus on…
Like the original Sabine Wren in SWGoH, Padawan Sabine Wren is built for critical hits. Adding to her Critical Chance and Critical Damage from mods will make her crit more often and makes those crits more and more effective. Adding offense will also help here as she already starts with solid Physical Damage and Physical CC base stats. Given her basic has +20% Armor Penetration, and her Fallback Tactic special deals damage twice, both with added CC, and loading up on CC, CD and Offense is the way you want to focus your mods. Because she has 70% counter chance, speed will not need to be the major focus it is on most Attackers in SWGoH, but having some decent speed secondary stats will be helpful. When it comes to survivability stats, Padawan Sabine has a very low base Health stat, average Protection and an above average Armor stat. As a result I would look to enhance Defense and any stat boosted significant by the leader Padawan Sabine fights with.
Which Mod Sets to use & Dev Recommendations
I fully expected to see the developers recommend Critical Chance and Critical Damage as the two they put in the “Advanced” section in-game, but instead they went with Offense and CC. Padawan Sabine Wren is built to hit hard and get crits, so loading her up with high CC and CD with offense and speed as well, will make her the most effective as we prepare for the Galactic Legend Ahsoka Tano release. While the recommendations are not the same as mine, both can get you to your goal stats if you get the right secondary stat gains. As a result, here is what I am recommending for the best mods for Mandalorian attacker Padawan Sabine Wren:
- Transmitter (Square) – The Transmitter mod always has a primary focus on offense. For Padawan Sabine Wren, you want to use a CRITICAL DAMAGE mod here and be sure to closely look at the secondary stats to ensure that you get a heavy secondary focus on speed, offense, defense and critical chance.
- Receiver (Arrow) – The Receiver mod can have a primary focus on several stats including speed, critical avoidance, accuracy, health, protection, defense and offense. For Padawan Sabine Wren, you want to use a CRITICAL DAMAGE mod here with a primary focus on speed and a secondary focus on offense, critical chance and defense. Note that an offense focus with a solid speed secondary could also be in play.
- Processor (Diamond) – The Processor is always going to have a primary focus on defense. For Padawan Sabine Wren, you want to use a CRITICAL DAMAGE mod here with a secondary focus on speed, CC, offense and defense.
- Holo-Array (Triangle) – The Holo-Array is a very specialized mod that can have a primary focus on critical chance, critical damage, health, protection, offense and defense. For Padawan Sabine Wren, you want to use a CRITICAL DAMAGE mod here with a primary focus on Critical Damage and a secondary focus on speed, CC, offense and defense.
- Data-Bus (Circle) – The Data-bus mod always has a primary focus on either health or protection, so use a CRITICAL CHANCE mod with a Protection primary since she has a higher base Protection stat. The secondary focus stats should be speed, offense, defense and critical chance.
- Multiplexer (Plus) – The Multiplexer (plus or cross) mod can have a primary focus on potency, tenacity, health, protection, defense offense. For Padawan Sabine Wren, you want to use a CRITICAL CHANCE mod here with an Offense focus, making sure to have your mod sets complete. For the secondary stats, look to add speed, offense, defense and critical chance.
