As more characters are added to SWGoH, we cannot ignore how older characters are impacted and how the game continues to evolve. Today I start the Best Mods for Morgan Elsbeth, the newest character in Galaxy of Heroes. Years ago I launched Gaming-fans.com and started the “best mods” series of articles which turned out to be what put the site on the radar of the community and with EA Capital Games. As a member of the SWGoH GameChangers, the Website got even more attention as I attempted to expand into other areas of the game and even other games, constantly struggling to find the balance in the Force needed to do so. While my days with Gaming-fans.com are now behind me, I am working to keep building on what I saw as my strength all along – the “best mods in SWGoH” series as today I review the Best Mods for Morgan Elsbeth in SWGoH.
Here is the SWGoH explanation of Morgan Elsbeth: “A Nightsister Tank dedicated to protecting her Nightsister allies through defensive measures.” Meant to be used alongside Nightsisters for a second Nightsister team, Morgan Elsbeth in SWGoH gains Defense Up and Protection Up and places Stealth on her weakest ally through her basic, and can grant Nightsister allies healing and buffs while applying Blind and Armor Shred as well.

Main Mod Stats to focus on…
With the 5th (tied) highest base Protection in the game, a Top-20 base Health stat and the 25th highest armor stat, Morgan Elsbeth adds the survivability needed to make a second Nightsister team. She also has solid Tenacity and high Health Steal to add to those numbers meaning survivability should be the focus from mods. The ability to inflict debuffs also means some added Potency is wise, but not at the expense of solid Health/Protection/Defense gains. Used primarily under a Great Mothers lead where all Nightsister allies gain 30% Defense and 30 Speed, Morgan serves as the tank and taunts regularly to protect Night Trooper and Death Trooper (Peridea) as they look to deal damage and spread debuffs.
Which Mod Sets to use & Dev Recommendations
As I have said many times before, the developers and I tend to agree on new characters. For Morgan Elsbeth the modding it rather straightforward – survivability. Using a blend of Health and Defense mods look to add as much Health/Protection/Defense and some Tenacity and Potency and you will do just fine, and Speed does not need the push like with other characters. Here is what I am recommending for the best mods for Morgan Elsbeth:

- Transmitter (Square) – The Transmitter mod always has a primary focus on offense. For Morgan Elsbeth, you want to use a DEFENSE mod here and be sure to closely look at the secondary stats to ensure that you get a heavy secondary focus on health, defense, speed & protection.
- Receiver (Arrow) – The Receiver mod can have a primary focus on several stats including speed, critical avoidance, accuracy, health, protection, defense and offense. For Morgan Elsbeth, you want to use a HEALTH mod here with a primary focus on speed and a secondary focus on health, defense, tenacity & protection.
- Processor (Diamond) – The Processor is always going to have a primary focus on defense. For Morgan Elsbeth, you want to use a HEALTH mod here with a secondary focus on health, defense, speed & protection.
- Holo-Array (Triangle) – The Holo-Array is a very specialized mod that can have a primary focus on critical chance, critical damage, health, protection, offense and defense. For Morgan Elsbeth, you want to use a DEFENSE mod here with a primary focus on Health or Defense and a secondary focus on health, defense, speed & protection.
- Data-Bus (Circle) – The Data-bus mod always has a primary focus on either health or protection, and Morgan Elsbeth benefits a bit more from a high Health stat, so use a HEALTH mod with a Health primary, although Protection is also fine if you have great secondary stat gains. The secondary focus stats should be health, defense, speed & protection.
- Multiplexer (Plus) – The Multiplexer (plus or cross) mod can have a primary focus on potency, tenacity, health, protection, defense offense. For Morgan Elsbeth, you want to use a HEALTH mod here with a focus on Health or Defense, making sure to have your mod sets complete. For the secondary stats, look to add health, defense, speed & protection.
