Ki-Adi-Mundi - SWGoH

SWGoH: Best Mods for Ki-Adi-Mundi

Posted on July 21, 2024February 8, 2025 by ljcool110

As more characters are added to SWGoH, we cannot ignore how older characters are impacted and how the game continues to evolve. Today I take a look at a character we have had for a few years now in Galaxy of Heroes, Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi. Years ago I launched Gaming-fans.com and started the “best mods” series of articles which turned out to be what put the site on the radar of the community and with EA Capital Games. As a member of the SWGoH GameChangers, the Website got even more attention as I attempted to expand into other areas of the game and even other games, constantly struggling to find the balance in the Force needed to do so. While my days with Gaming-fans.com are now behind me, I am working to keep building on what I saw as my strength all along – the “best mods in SWGoH” series as today I review the Best Mods for Ki-Adi-Mundi in SWGoH.

Ki-Adi-Mundi was the prize of the Light Side Geonosis Territory Battles special mission and is described by SWGoH as a “Formidable Jedi Master who shifts between Ataru and Makashi lightsaber forms.” A Jedi who met his demise at the end of The Clone Wars during Episode III, like almost any Attacker in SWGoH you want KAM fast and high on offensive stats like Offense/Damage, Critical Chance and Critical Damage. He is an eligible character on a Galactic Republic Jedi team in the new raid as we detail in the best teams in the Battle of Naboo Raid, but he has many uses in other game modes including Territory Battles, Territory Wars, Conquest, GAC, Galactic Challenges and more.

A quick note. If I am too wordy for you, as I have learned I can be a bit a bit long-winded at times, check out the new Best Mods for Ki-Adi-Mundi TL;DR that I have added below.

Main Mod Stats to focus on…

Ki-Adi-Mundi is a Jedi Master and member of the high council and in the game he is an Attacker and member of the Galactic Republic and Jedi factions. With a high emphasis on attacks, you want offensively-driven mods with high speed secondaries across the board. When thinking about survivability, go with Health when you can as he has a couple of items in his kit which make Health your best option. Best of all, in the Naboo Raid there is no need to change mods on KAM from my testing, so once you get him modded as you wish you can set those mods on him and keep them there.

Which Mod Sets to use & Dev Recommendations for KAM:

As I have said many times before, the developers and I tend to agree on new characters, but I have also stated clearly that with older characters the devs went through and made 100+ recommendations at once, and it is clear on some that they were not thorough. Ki-Adi-Mundi is not one of those overlooked characters but simply one who players have honed in on a better strategy than the dev-suggested CC & CD mod sets. An Offense set of four seems to fit much better with a Critical Chance set to help get KAM to over 10k Physical Damage and over 270 speed as some guilds recommend.

Here is what I am recommending for the best mods for Ki-Adi-Mundi:

    • Transmitter (Square) – The Transmitter mod always has a primary focus on offense. For Ki-Adi-Mundi, you want to use a CRITICAL CHANCE mod here and be sure to closely look at the secondary stats to ensure that you get a heavy secondary focus on speed, offense, critical chance and health.
    • Receiver (Arrow) – The Receiver mod can have a primary focus on several stats including speed, critical avoidance, accuracy, health, protection, defense and offense. For Ki-Adi-Mundi, you want to use a or OFFENSE mod here with a primary focus on speed and a secondary focus on offense, critical chance, protection and health.
    • Processor (Diamond) – The Processor is always going to have a primary focus on defense. For Ki-Adi-Mundi, you want to use a OFFENSE mod here with a secondary focus on speed, offense, critical chance and health.
    • Holo-Array (Triangle) – The Holo-Array is a very specialized mod that can have a primary focus on critical chance, critical damage, health, protection, offense and defense. For Ki-Adi-Mundi, you want to use a OFFENSE mod here with a primary focus on Critical Damage and a secondary focus on speed, offense, critical chance and health.
    • Data-Bus (Circle) – The Data-bus mod always has a primary focus on either health or protection, and while Ki-Adi-Mundi benefits from both stats, Health is a bit more valuable, so use a OFFENSE mod with a primary focus on health and a secondary focus speed, offense, critical chance and health or protection.
    • Multiplexer (Plus) – The Multiplexer (plus or cross) mod can have a primary focus on potency, tenacity, health, protection, defense offense. For Ki-Adi-Mundi, you want to use a CRITICAL CHANCE mod here with a focus on Offense, making sure to have your mod sets complete. For the secondary stats, look to add speed, offense, critical chance and health.

SWGoH Ki-Adi-Mundi Mods TL;DR

  • Square – Critical Chance mod with speed & offense
  • Arrow – Offense mod, Speed focus with cc & offense
  • Diamond – Offense mod with speed & offense
  • Triangle – Offense mod, Health focus with speed & offense
  • Circle – Offense mod, Health focus with speed & offense
  • Plus – Critical Chance mod, Defense focus with speed & offense
