For those searching for a Jar Jar Binks mods guide, you found the right site. Years ago I started Gaming-fans.com and started the “best mods” series of articles which turned out to be what put the site on the radar of the community and with EA Capital Games. As a member of the SWGoH GameChangers, the Website got even more attention as I attempted to expand into other areas of the game and even other games, constantly struggling to find the balance in the Force needed to do so. While my days with Gaming-fans.com are now behind me, I am working to keep building on what I saw as my strength all along – the “best mods in SWGoH” series as today I review the Best Mods for Jar Jar Binks in SWGoH.
Here is the SWGoH explanation of Jar Jar Binks: “A Gungan Support who isn’t afraid to interject into the battle and offer his own brand of help, frustrating the enemy.” His kit is a unique one, having a very small chance for a very big effect on each of his in-battle/attack abilities. Given what I expect from the turn order of the Gungans as I detailed in the best mods for Gungan Boomadier, Jar Jar Binks will be the 4th member of the Gungan team to take a turn, likely just after Boss Nass and before the Gungan Phalanx. With all of this in mind, check the stats you are gaining and line up the Speed of your characters to ensure you get the optimal turn order for your Gungans to maximize their effectiveness.

Main Mod Stats to focus on…
As I stated in the best mods for the Gungans in SWGoH article, I am starting with three Health sets and adjusting from there. Since his Max Health will have 75% turned into Max Protection at the start of each battle, this feels like the safe way to get going with such a unique and somewhat random kit. His Special Damage is middle-of-the-road, his Special CC is very low and his Potency is fairly strong, so only Potency is worth boosting of these stats in my opinion. Boosting his Protection from mods will be important with the arrow mod focused on Speed and the circle, triangle and plus/cross mod likely all with Protection as the primary stat gained. All in all, the developers really captured the true Jar Jar Binks of Star Wars Episode I with the design of this character.
Which Mod Sets to use & Dev Recommendations for Jar Jar Binks:
As I have said many times before, the developers and I rarely disagree on new characters. For the Jar Jar Binks the development team’s suggestions are straight Potency, but the top SWGoH players in the Kyber division of the GAC are pushing toward a Speed set and a Potency set. After using him way too many times in the unlocking Jar Jar Binks event, the no-mods version we were loaned really killed the battle’s momentum with his inability to land Frustration and I also feel that Speed would also be a big help. As a result of this, here is what I am recommending for the best mods for Jar Jar Binks:

- Transmitter (Square) – The Transmitter mod always has a primary focus on offense. For Jar Jar Binks, you want to use a POTENCY mod here and be sure to closely look at the secondary stats to ensure that you get a heavy secondary focus on speed, protection, health and potency.
- Receiver (Arrow) – The Receiver mod can have a primary focus on several stats including speed, critical avoidance, accuracy, health, protection, defense and offense. For Jar Jar Binks, you want to use a SPEED mod here with a primary focus on speed and a secondary focus on potency, protection, health and tenacity or defense.
- Processor (Diamond) – The Processor is always going to have a primary focus on defense. For Jar Jar Binks, you want to use a SPEED mod here with a secondary focus on speed, protection, health and potency.
- Holo-Array (Triangle) – The Holo-Array is a very specialized mod that can have a primary focus on critical chance, critical damage, health, protection, offense and defense. For Jar Jar Binks, you want to use a SPEED mod here with a primary focus on Protection and a secondary focus on speed, protection, health and potency.
- Data-Bus (Circle) – The Data-bus mod always has a primary focus on either health or protection, and Jar Jar Binks benefits greatly from a high Protection stat, so use a POTENCY mod with a Protection primary. The secondary focus stats should be speed, protection, health and potency.
- Multiplexer (Plus) – The Multiplexer (plus or cross) mod can have a primary focus on potency, tenacity, health, protection, defense offense.
